MEASURED HEATING PERFORMANCE

The numbers, with their conditions.

Three supplied 120 V reports, calibrated at 350°C with a 350°C setpoint. These are measured tip temperatures, separate from the station display.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Common questions.

Get to know your soldering station.

How do Standby and Sleep modes work?

By default, 5 minutes of inactivity reduces the temperature to 200°C. After another 10 minutes in standby, heating turns off and SLP is displayed. Lift the iron to wake, or press the knob when controls are unlocked. The standby timer is adjustable from 0–15 minutes; 0 disables standby. At the default setting this is 15 minutes idle in total. Sleep stops heating but does not disconnect the power. After use, switch off with the rear power switch, unplug and let the iron cool in its stand.

What cable material does the KNS-P2225 use?

The KNS-P2225 uses PVC electrical cable. The iron has a blue non-slip grip.

Is a sponge included?

No. The front metal tray is supplied empty. An iron tip cleaner is included, as shown in the parts list.

Where can I find the manual or replacement parts?
